ABOUT GRACEPOINT
Why Relational Health?
We focus on relational health because God created all of us to function within a set of vertical and horizontal relationships. We know from the Bible that our relational health with God has been restored through the person and work of Jesus Christ and that we receive this blessing of new life purely by GRACE through faith. We know that the POINT where God’s GRACE tore through space and time was at the Cross, where Jesus gave his life that we might have life, the abundant life, the forgiven life. This truth has transformational power. It positively impacts our relationships with each other and with God’s creation. It is our foundational goal to help hurting persons apprehend and experience the relational health they can enjoy with their Creator through Jesus Christ and assist them in translating and applying that reality to themselves and in their relationships with others.

INDIVIDUAL, COUPLE AND FAMILY COUNSELING

We seek to provide all those who are suffering from any mental illness or difficulty a safe place to work through those struggles. Our therapists are trained and equipped to handle a wide variety of issues and are all licensed with the State of Nebraska as Mental Health Professionals.

Many of the difficulties that we face in this life stem from struggles in our most intimate relationships. We provide competent and comprehensive Marriage and Family Therapy services to address those struggles.

PASTORAL
COUNSELING

Pastoral Counseling is a unique form of psychotherapy that intentionally applies the distinctive resources of the Christian faith to the mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational problems that people face. A pastoral counselor uses solid mental health theory and practice as well as the rich resources of the pastoral tradition, such as confession and absolution, prayer, proclamation of God’s Word, and the Means of Grace. A pastoral counselor is trained in both mental health and theology. Our staff has over 70 combined years experience in pastoral care and counseling.
