Do your counselors take all insurance?
Each individual counselor is credentialed with specific insurance providers and may not be paneled with your insurance. This also means that it is up to the counselor if and how out-of-network policies/claims are handled. If your counselor does not take your insurance, you do still have a private pay option; sometimes our counselors are able to offer a reduced rate based on need but this is not guaranteed. Private pay rates are already discounted from our full billable amount.

How does your office handle out-of-network insurance claims?
If a counselor agrees to provide you with out-of-network claim submission paperwork, payment will still need to be remitted to your counselor at the time of service. After a session, the counselor/their biller will provide you with a receipt of payment and a generic claim submission form for you to submit to your insurance privately. This does not guarantee coverage or reimbursement from your insurance provider. Additionally, it will be your responsibility to find out what your insurance provider does require for this type of claim submission. If you need additional paperwork from our office, please let us know.

Is childcare provided during counseling sessions?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide childcare during sessions. We do ask that only the client(s) are in attendance for counseling sessions so that the focus may be on what is being addressed during counseling sessions.

Do your counselors treat children?
Our counselors each have different and sometimes overlapping areas of expertise, as well as experience with specific age groups. Currently, we do have the staffing to address children's mental health needs but are growing this as the need is great.
